Have you ever thought how much time you spend waiting ?
That this adds up to months and years, here is no debating.
Be it in a doctor's office, perhaps in a bureaucratic place-
in your lifetime many empty hours you patiently had to face.
First you had to wait, perhaps, nine months for an appearance
then you were fortunate to keep a date without interference.
You could not wait to grow up and make your own decisions,
you had to make sure to not face any major inhibitions.
It took too long to take a ride in your own very first car,
even worse, it seemed forever to buy a drink in your very first bar.
You had to play the waiting game in everything you wanted to do-
it seemed like forever that your good fortune would come through.
Then, finally, comes the time when you tire of waiting and relax,
when you are sure you have done right, left no bad tracks.
Take things as they come, when it is over, just let it go
you can't go on forever-that is what you surely must know !
