It now has been my refuge and my haven for about twelve peaceful years.
Thus, joyously, ever so many times, it was able to welcome my New Mexico dears.
The sweet little doggies bring life to an otherwise very quiet, peaceful place-
all this to add to the pleasure I now so gratefully have been able to face.
Situated at a quiet corner it harbors me and I am so peacefully protected
and it now often comes to mind - it was the second place a search detected.
Very little traffic passes and truly very few people now come to my door,
certainly I was lucky to find this haven after leaving my lucky Belmont Shore.
There is ample room for my daily walks-mostly spent now on the inside,
that I am able to do so for 3/4 of an hour fills me with justifiable pride.
Located only minutes away from clubhouses where I can spend much time,
fortunately close to the "Friends of the Library" in our so very warm clime.
Visiting a neighbor daily brings pleasant conversation to keep in touch,
watching baseball games and Jeopardy I nightly enjoy ever so very much.
Thus life is still good for this old coot, may it last for some time to come :
surely, I am blessed to greet each day, I am gratefully luckier than some !
